Alex Lanier is through to the final of the Singapore Open after an impressive semifinal performance, defeating Alwi Farhan 21-14, 21-11.

The young Frenchman controlled the match from start to finish and once again looked in excellent form throughout the week, showing both composure and sharpness in key moments.

Lanier has been one of the standout performers of the tournament and now moves one step away from the title. In tomorrow’s final, he will face home favorite Loh Kean Yew, who will have strong support from the local crowd at the Singapore Open.

The head-to-head between the two stands at 2-1 in Lanier’s favor, with Lanier also winning their most recent encounter at the 2025 Indonesia Open

In mixed doubles, Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Bøje have also reached the final after a dominant semifinal victory. They will face Japan’s Shimogami and Hobara in their bid to secure another title for Denmark in Singapore.
