The Polish International 2025 presented by YONEX finished yesterday in Kraków. The International Series tournament brought some good results by Europeans.

Denmark’s 19-year-old William Bøgebjerg won the men’s singles title, with fellow Dane Victor Ørding Kauffmann taking a bronze medal. In women’s singles, Chinese Taipei’s Xu Wei was the women’s singles champion, with Austria’s Xu Wei finishing as runner-up.

Japan had strong results across the board. Shuji Sawada/Tsubasa Yoshida took the men’s doubles title, while top seeds Malik Bourakkadi/Kenneth Neumann settled for silver. Yuma Nagasako/Aya Tamaki won in women’s doubles, and the mixed doubles title went to Sawada and Tamaki – a second title in Kraków for both.

The highlight among European results came from Sweden’s Tilda Sjöö, who secured two silver medals. The younger of the Sjöö sisters, who last played with her sister Moa at the St. Denis Reunion Open earlier this year before Moa’s retirement, is now forging a new path on the circuit.

In mixed doubles, she and Filip Karlborg reached their second final together and in women’s doubles, she has teamed up with Malena Norrman – the new duo is already off to a strong start with a silver medal in their first circuit tournament together.
