After a busy period on European soil, with the 2026 European Championships and more recently the Thomas & Uber Cup Finals in Horsens, Denmark, the World Tour now heads back to Asia for an grand stretch of tournaments.

We’re starting in Patumwan, Thailand, with the TOYOTA Thailand Open 2026. The Asian leg will then continue with the Malaysia Masters, another Super 500 event, followed by the Singapore Open, a Super 750, and finally the Indonesia Open, a Super 1000 tournament, at the beginning of June.

The TOYOTA Thailand Open kicks off tomorrow, with the opening day featuring all qualification rounds as well as most of the men’s and women’s doubles first-round matches.

Some European players will be competing in qualification, including Ditlev Jaeger Holm, Dicky Dwi Pangestu, Daniil Dubovenko, Julien Carraggi, Kaloyana Nalbantova, and Yvonne Li, all looking to secure a place in the main draw.

There are also many European names in the main draw. Denmark bring many of their top names for the opening tournament of this Asian stretch. Anders Antonsen, third seeded, will first face Hong Kong China’s Jason Gunawan, while Magnus Johannesen will have a difficult first-round challenge against Lee Cheuk Yiu, also from Hong Kong China.

Amalie Schulz and Line Højmark Kjærsfeldt are also in action, while Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Bøje will be the mixed doubles’ second seeds.

Scotland also has several players competing in the Super 500 tournament, including Christopher Grimley/Matthew Grimley, Julie Macpherson/Ciara Torrance, Julie Macpherson in mixed doubles with Alexander Dunn, and Dunn also partnering Adam Pringle in men’s doubles.

Also in doubles, the European line-up features Czechia’s Jiří Král/Ondřej Král, Spain’s Paula López/Lucía Rodríguez, and France’s Julien Maio/William Villeger, with Maio also competing in mixed doubles partnered with Lea Palermo.
